We Were Happy
We Were Happy is a short film written and directed by Emma Sumlin. It stars Adam Randall, Melissa Chick, and Emily Gathright. It was co-directed by Joe Henkel and edited by Jonathan Collins. It was filmed in October of 2022 over 4 days. It premiered at Dallas Baptist University in July of 2023 and was received well for its emotional connection to others and their personal lives.
